Zero Hunger By 2030
Sage and Enamel Foundation (SANDEF) is a non- profit organization birthed from the belief that food and healthcare are an extended right to life. We believe that food and healthcare are powerful catalysts for change; both empower people thereby building stronger communities. This movement is inspired by our vision for a stronger and healthier community where no one goes to bed hungry.
To be Africa’s largest charitable health and food aid network serving the increasing needs of persons most vulnerable to diseases and at risk of food insecurity.
To provide food aid to individuals at the risk of food insecurity in Africa and enhance access of vulnerable individuals in low income communities in Africa to healthcare services.
For many years to come, SANDEF’s vision shall be to become Africa’s largest charitable health and food aid network serving the increasing needs of persons most vulnerable to diseases and at-risk of low food security.
This promise is bigger than ourselves. We are doubling down on our vision to do things differently and joining forces with strategic partners in order to work towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined by the United Nations to end hunger.
SANDEF is headquartered in Osun Sate, Nigeria with presence in Lagos, Oyo, and the United States. The organization was founded in 2016 and became popular for its works during the 8th global pandemic – Covid-19 with the mission to provide food aid to individuals at the risk of food insecurity in Africa and to provide easier accessibility of health care facilities to low- income communities in Africa.
As a responsible non-governmental with a desire to change the narrative of Africa, we are strictly guided by our CORE VALUES: Service, Accountability, Nobility, Dedication, Excellence and Integrity.
In line with our vision to be Africa’s largest charitable health and food aid network, we are committed to:
- provide supplemental nutrition assistance to pregnant women and children.
- organize public health awareness outreaches that will build healthy eating habits.
- support sustainable development through food waste recycling.
- feed the less privileged and most vulnerable population in our communities.
- collaborate with other agencies in order to reduce food insecurity in Africa.
- donate and provide relief for disaster victims.
