Dr. Ahmed Adekunle

Ahmed Adekunle ADEWOLE is a seasoned Emergency Medicine and Medical Intelligence expert, presently working with Defence Intelligence Agency, Abuja. He graduated with a medical degree from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo state a few years back. He has served at different capacity in the field of medicine and participated in different operations. He is a member of Rotary International over a decade now, where he does exhibit his passion to affect the humanities. He’s watchword is service above self. He has attended several pieces of training and certifications both in the field of Medicine and Intelligence.

Rev. Dr. Badru

Rev Dr. Aderemi Badru is a preacher of the Gospel. A passionate leader with the mandate to rebuild broken lives and to build the next generation. He obtained his bachelor’s of Theology in Missions from the Prestigious Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, Nigeria, his Master’s degree from Faith Theological Seminary, Baltimore, Maryland, USA and a Doctor of Ministry diploma was conferred on him by Damascus Road Bible Institute, Maryland, USA. He has served as the Pioneer pastor of Higher-Ground Baptist Church , Ogbomoso, University Baptist Church, Abuja and He is the President of the Rebuilders’ Ministries International with its headquarter in Houston, Tx. He is currently a Young Adult Pastor at the World Soul Winning Ministries, Houston, TX and a chaplain intern at St Luke’s Hospital, Houston, TX, USA. He is a prolific author with over twelve books to his name and an itinerant preacher of the Gospel who have traveled across Africa, United Kingdom and North America. Rev. Dr. Aderemi Badru is from Ejigbo, Osun State, Nigeria and currently reside in Houston, TX, USA

Elizabeth Badmus

Elizabeth Omolola Badmus holds a Bachelor’s degree in Crop and Environmental Protection from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. She is currently a student of the University of Lagos State where she is taking her Master’s degree program on Environmental Management. She has about 3years experience in the developmental sector with focus on Agriculture and Public sector reform. Currently, Elizabeth Badmus works as an Associate at Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission, as a development technocrat on the Governance and Inclusive Institutions desk to help improve public service reforms, support and strengthen governance institutions across the states of the Southwest region. She has worked in partnership with numerous partners such as DFID-PERL, World Bank etc. where she has facilitated development conversations amongst different stakeholders. Her work at the agriculture sector focused on the bid to assist in increasing food security, addressing bottlenecks connecting farmers to the market and strengthening relationships between grass-root farmers and the government of the Southwest region of Nigeria, this followed her volunteer as the media lead for the Agriculture community service during her NYSC in 2017. Elizabeth is motivated by her desire to help achieve Food Security and Environmental sustainability and she is a strong advocate for Health, Safety and the Environment. She has obtained certifications on HSE and other related Health and Environmental sector and looking to expand her knowledge in this line. She has also been able to work with both the Public and Private Service in advising, strategizing and reviewing policy document to position the Southwest states for development. She is a strategic and analytical thinker with the quest to know and understand the environment with the aim of contributing to public policy development in this space.

Marlene Marshall

Marlene Marshall began her career as a dance studio owner at the age of 17yeras old. She attended Illinois College and graduated with a B.S. degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale II. She continued to teach dance all through College and after, in several locations. Twenty-four years later, she decided to get a Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Columbia College in Chicago, which she completed in 2000. Her next career choice was operating a learning center for children with disabilities. She became certified to use computer programs to increase learning skills, math skills and improve focus and attention. She is currently part of a ministry team that helps acclimatize international students who are new to the University of Illinois at Springfield to their new surrounding and culture. Marlene helps provide familial connections to these young men and women helping with physical needs and emotional needs as well as getting to know them and listening their concerns while offering wisdom.

Dr. Oluwatosin Adeoye

Dr. Oluwatosin Adeoye is a Public Health Physician with over 10 years’ experience. He is well grounded in health program management, surveillance and control of infectious diseases of public health importance (HIV, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Respiratory Tract Infections, Hemorrhagic diseases etc), reproductive health, nutrition, health system strengthening, research/implementation science, data management, monitoring and evaluation. He has worked in both Government and Non-Government Organizations, teaching and managing donor funded projects. He has published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as play the role of peer reviewer for some journals. He presently work in the Society for Family Health as a Senior Technical Specialist in the Research, Measurement and Evaluation Unit.

Taiwo Jolayemi

Taiwo Jolayemi is a passionate dental practitioner. She graduated from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife , Nigeria, where she bagged the Bachelors of Dental Surgery (B.ChD) in 2015. She is an astute clinician with special interest in orthodontics.

She has invested a lot of time working with several hospitals and dental clinics in Nigeria. She is a devoted volunteer to community health initiatives and her interests are in HIV/AIDS , Hypertension, maternal and child health. She is a public health enthusiast and did a dissertation on Comparison between Oral health status in Urban and Rural areas in Osun state, Nigeria. She also was a member of the ASK project on HIV/AIDS, Kumasi, Ghana. She is a member of the Nigeria Medical Association and Nigeria Dental Association.

She has great Communication and Interpersonal skills and is an Innovative team player. She always allow her career choices to be determined by motivation to provide best and quality services to her patients and her clients, therefore any opportunity that provides her with the right kind of knowledge empowers and strengthens this resolve.

Dr Ogundipe Kamil

Head of Research

Ogundipe Opeyemi Kamil is a medical doctor with special interest in Community Medicine, Occupational Health & Safety and Addictive behaviors based in Perth, Australia. He bagged his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago- Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria and his Advanced Diploma in Work, Health & Safety at DNA Kingston Training in Perth, Australia. He is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian Institute of Health and Safety. Kamil serves as the Director of Afara 360 Public Health Initiative, an NGO focused on health accessibility at all levels, public engagement and policies. He is also a Director at Acquire Hub Foundation where he has invested a lot of time in community development. He has served as the Chairman of the Immunizations Committee and member of the State Executive Council of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Osun State Branch, before his appointment as the Deputy Secretary of the Association. As a certified HMO professional, he worked with Marina Medicals HMO team that pioneered community Based Health Insurance Scheme in some selected communities in Lagos. Kamil is a Charter member of Abuja Metropolitan Lions Club District 404A2 and has a passion for community service, policymaking, advocacy, and capacity building.

Samuel Tunde

Samuel Tunde Alao is a passionate and innovative health professional with a great passion for public health. He currently works as a house dental surgeon at the University College Hospital Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria. He bagged his Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria where he graduated as the best graduating student with over 35 university awards/honors. While earning his undergraduate degree, he was employed and still works as an honorary demonstrator at the Department of Anatomy, University of Ibadan. Prior to the commencement of his internship, he worked as both the field supervisor (clinical) and a research assistant in a survey of Household Adult Oral Health in Nigerian slums, a research funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Global Health Research Unit on Improving Health in Slums using UK aid from the UK Government to support global health research. He also enjoys all forms of interaction with people residing in the urban, rural or slum sites through community health and research programs. Samuel is a public health research enthusiast who is actively searching for opportunities to improve health and ameliorate health disparities among low-income, underserved and underrepresented communities. His interests are in tobacco use and control; chronic diseases epidemiology with a focus on associated link with oral diseases. He has served and led various organizations in different capacities where he learned the principles of followership and leadership.

Progress Agboola

Progress Agboola is a global health advocate & medical doctor in training at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology with over four years experience working on social impact projects and initiatives across Nigeria covering adolescent sexual reproductive health, HIV Prevention research, youth development and gender equality. Progress is a Student Ambassador at Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (RSTMH) United Kingdom, Convening space working group member of the Global Health Workforce Network (GHWN) Youth Hub at the World Health Organization and part of the selected advocates for Africa Free of New HIV Infections (AfNHi) Youth Cohort. He has been recognized as a 2017 fellow of Barack Obama Young African Leaders initiative (YALI), International Federation of Medical Students’ Association (IFMSA) 2019 delegate to World Health Assembly at Geneva Switzerland, 2019 Fellow of the Young Professionals Bootcamp, A Kectil 2018 colleague, Alumnus of Common Purpose UK, Youth Ambassador at International Youth Society & Global Youth Ambassador at Their World United Nations.

Destiny Adeyemi

Dezi Adeyemi has a BA in Behavioral Health and AA in Church Leadership from Evangel University, Springfield Missouri. She is an alumnus of adventures in missions, and World Race of 2019. Dezi has traveled to several countries spreading the love of Jesus through humanitarian work. She holds a few certifications in animal and group therapy. She volunteers her time and uses her rabbit, Bennet to visit and assist those in memory care and elderly care facilities. She is passionate about nonprofit organizations, and the opportunities to invest in any way possible to aid in the goal of the organization.

Amoo Adeola

Amoo Adeola is a graduate of performing arts from the prestigious university of Ilorin in Kwara state Nigeria. Apart from being a graduate of performing arts, over the years she has invested her time to being a real performer in life. After her graduation, she has been working around the media sector. A move that has afforded her opportunity to work with the learned and experienced in the sector. She started out as a social media assistant at the popular Royal FM. A position she held for a while. While at Royal FM, she was saddled with the responsibility of gathering current and valuable information, influencing the acceptability of information and reaction to the information by careful presentation, without altering the information. From Royal FM, she moved to the BTR media academy as a content creator and program designer. As a content creator and program designer, she was saddled with the responsibility of creating catchy and captivating content, designing engaging programs and promoting the image of the academy. Her experiences over the years have sharpened her ability to work in a fast paced environment, analytical thinking, strong verbal and personal communication skills and organizational skills and customer service orientation. In her usual commitment to growth, she has also invested her time into learning photography as a professional. A dream she has long nursed as a young girl. At her leisure, she enjoys taking pictures, listening to music and travelling.

Omotayo Adeyemi

Omotayo Adeyemi is a final year Mass Communication student of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, and majors in Broadcasting. She had her secondary school education at Command Day Secondary School Oshodi in Lagos State, Nigeria. Before returning to school to complete her HND, she invested a lot of time working for different brands across Nigeria such as Nivea and Baygon. Her experience with these top-notch brands has exposed her to meeting and attending to different people from all walks of life. Omotayo Adeyemi has great communication skills, a friendly manner of approach, and most importantly, Omotayo believes anything is possible with God, and if you work hard in it.

Joy Anyanwu

Joy Anyanwu is a final year History & International Studies student of Osun State University, Osogbo.
Between 2015 – 2017, she served as a sales Executive at Hombec Nigeria Limited in order to familiarize herself with the corporate workplace and environment. As a Social Coordinator in her Department, she has successfully organized several student programs as well as bringing people together. Her experience in coordinating these events and programs on campus has exposed her to meeting and attending to the needs of various people from different backgrounds.
