Dr Ayodeji Majek Akande is a dedicated mental health professional, teacher, and researcher with over 13 years’ experience in the field of Psychiatry. He is currently working as a Psychiatrist at a Neuropsychiatry Rehabilitation Center; Cygnet Heathers , West Bromwich, UK. Prior to this, he worked at Cygnet St Augustine’s Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, UK. Before leaving Nigeria, he worked for about three years as a Consultant Psychiatrist at State Specialist Hospital, Osogbo.

He obtained his MBBS degree from the College of Medicine of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Psychiatry, Nigeria. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK.

In his free time, he enjoys watching football, playing football, playing checkers listening to music, and spending time with family.
