Benita Kibonge is an accomplished litigation attorney with extensive experience representing businesses, corporations, healthcare institutions, and professionals in complex civil and commercial disputes. Her practice focuses on healthcare litigation and professional liability, product liability, and appellate advocacy. She manages matters through every stage of litigation, from early case assessment and strategic motion practice to discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals.
In addition to her healthcare-focused work, Benita has a broad litigation background that includes employment law, insurance defense, intellectual property disputes, construction defect claims, and premises liability matters. She is recognized for her expertise in dispositive motion practice, arbitration, settlement negotiations, and appellate support in complex civil litigation.
Benita earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Iowa College of Law. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property and Cyber Law from the University of Illinois College of Law and Alliance University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA/LL.B.) with High Honors from Karnataka State Law University.
She is admitted to practice law in the State of Washington and the District of Columbia and is also licensed to practice in Nigeria, reflecting her commitment to serving clients across diverse legal and regulatory environments.
As Legal Adviser to the Sage and Enamel Foundation (SANDEF), Benita provides strategic legal counsel and guidance that support the organization’s governance, compliance, and mission-driven initiatives. Her legal expertise, global perspective, and commitment to service strengthen SANDEF’s efforts to advance health, education, and social impact in underserved communities.
