Development
Oluwagbemileke Ajayi is a dedicated professional with a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois at Springfield. He has a diverse background, having worked as a Toxicologist at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and as a Cancer Epidemiologist at the Illinois Department of Public Health. In addition to his academic and professional achievements, he currently serves as the Vice President of the Rotaract Club at the University of Illinois at Springfield.
Leke holds a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife, Osun State, showcasing his strong foundation in healthcare. Driven by his passion for ensuring equitable healthcare access for underprivileged and low-resource populations, he has gained valuable experience in community health and has collaborated with several non-governmental organizations.
Leke is a fervent advocate for equal access to health and health communication. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is an enthusiastic reader and a music lover, often found engrossed in a good book or enjoying music when he’s not actively engaged in the field, championing the cause of healthcare equality.
