Samuel F.k Abimbade is a passionate Pro-Gender Advocate with a wealth of experience spanning over 5 years in rural project implementation and sustainability. His academic background includes a degree in International Relations and certifications in crisis management, health safety, and project management. Additionally, he holds a diploma in Public Relations from the Institute of Transport Management Technology.

One of Samuel’s notable achievements is his involvement in the drafting of the Omoluabi Boys and Girls Charter, a guide designed to help adolescents navigate environmental crises. This initiative was created under the auspices of the former governor of Osun state. During his tenure with the Omoluabi Committee, Samuel spearheaded high-level advocacy efforts, engaging with top government officials on critical issues such as “Youth accessibility to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services” and “Reduction of Female Gender Mutilation/Circumcision practices in hard-to-reach areas.”

Samuel is a committed participant in top-level stakeholder conferences focusing on SRHR and holds active memberships in the Oyo state MENendFGM team and the Youth Advocate for Sustainable and Equitable Vaccine Access (YASEVA). His active engagement with policy makers has earned him these influential roles.

Beyond his advocacy work, Samuel serves as a Board member for Value Fe-male Network and the EL-Elyon Foundation, both civil society organizations leading discussions on gender parity in western Nigeria. He is also the Lead partner of MOVE AID and serves as the Team Lead for Kwameprep Intl Consult. Samuel’s extensive contributions in the field of gender advocacy and public health highlight his dedication to driving positive change in communities.
